Margit Quarter: Cleaning
Participatory performance disguised as communal street sweeping
A reinterpretation of the performance of Sweeping Up by Josef Beuys, held on 1 May 1972, on the occasion that Beuys was born 100 years ago. It is primarily intended to be a community event aiming to involve local residents and to function as an exhibition combining the performers of Margit Quarter and the practice of Beuys.
